Event Description
Join the library for our Fall Workshop Series! These mini sessions are designed to be a brief, 20 minute intro to a topic followed by Q&A time. Once you've had time to digest the information, follow up with questions, explore the resources shared independently, or schedule a one on one consultation with a librarian!
At Hot Topics in Scholarly Communications librarians will address predatory publishing. A recognized problem in academic publishing, predatory publishers promise fast publication in impactful journals in exchange for hefty fees. In actuality, the publications lack scientific rigor, negatively impacting both the author and scientific research. Join us for lunch and learn how to identify and avoid these publishers.
