eLearning is offering this workshop in order to provide instructors, and others who support instruction, with the basics they need to get started building assignments and assignment groups, which in turn will create your gradebook columns and structure.  The goal is to enable you to use Assignments and Grades in Canvas the way they were intended to be used so your assignment structure is easy to understand, automatically provides timely information to your students, and accurately calculates students grades so as to reflect a correct score in the Grade Book Total column.

After attending this workshop, participants will be able to do the following:

• Build basic assignments
• Establish assignment group structure
• Use Canvas grading features
