The library reserves 13 Student Study Rooms (2-6 occupants) and 10 Large Student Study Rooms (4-12 occupants) for student use.
You may reserve Student Study Rooms up to 2 weeks in advance.
First Floor Study Rooms are first-come first-served! If you see an open study room on the first floor, there is no need to reserve it at all. Just go on in! The rooms on the first floor are not reservable. Study rooms on the second and third floors may still be reserved in advance right here or with the assistance of the library staff at the Library Service Desk.
Keys are no longer necessary for any Student Study Room!
Student study rooms may be reserved by current graduate or undergraduate students using an active Michigan Tech username and ISO password or at the Library Service Center desk with a valid HuskyCard. Laptops may be requested at the Library and IT Service Center. Student study rooms 113, 114, 236 and 237 are equipped with 42" monitors (cables available for checkout). Study room 115, 116, 238 and 239 now have large adjustable-monitor computers designed for collaboration. These computers are installed with Campus Common Core Software.
